CLIENT: Proprietary Technologies PROJECT: "NuGrip" accessory wrench handles MATERIALS & PROCESSES: Injection molded polyethylene DESCRIPTION: This patented product is a simple pair of identical molded handle halves that are assembled using O-rings onto wrenches available from a major retailer. The ergonomically shaped grip reduces stress in the user's hand as well as increasing the amount of force that can be exerted on the wrench. The manufacturer controls costs by utilizing identical parts (which increases part volume) and by using off-the-shelf O-rings instead of custom sizes. |
