CLIENT: Capintec PROJECT: Cardiac Monitor MATERIALS & PROCESSES: Machined and turned blank acetal resin stock with off-the-shelf hardware. DESCRIPTION: Worn under a patient's clothing, this detector is positioned over the heart and is adjusted in 4 axis (X, Y, Z, and rotational) to obtain detailed information. Mann-Horton designed the adjustment mechanism, the under-shirt mounting vest, generated all production drawings, and fabricated the first 2 prototypes. |
