CLIENT: TSS (Traffic Safety Services) for Consolidated Edison PROJECT: Barrier Support MATERIALS & PROCESSES: Rotationally molded "A-Frames" & standard lumber cross-pieces DESCRIPTION: Looking for a way to reduce breakage, theft, and burning of the traditional wooden crowd-control barrier, TSS gave Mann-Horton the task of designing a replacement. The molded part doesn't burn, is lightweight, easy to move, and is nearly unbreakable. |
