DESCRIPTION: This supplier of rapid assembly shelters to the U.S. military and NATO needed their standard heater redesigned to speed up initial assembly, increase durability, and simplify field servicing. The resulting design is built from the "bottom up" so no repositioning is necessary during assembly, it is capable of being dropped off a truck rear gate with no significant damage, it can be opened and serviced without tools, and multiple units can be stacked for off-season storage. And finally, the heater is less expensive to produce than its predecessor.
