(ASI) PROJECT: Diaper Changing Station MATERIALS & PROCESSES: Thermoformed changing bed, back wall, and access doors mounted in a stainless steel enclosure DESCRIPTION: The interior is soft rounded plastic so no sharp edges or corners are near the baby and the plastic has the added benefit of being impervious to spills and cleaning agents. The exterior is polished stainless steel for visual, sanitary, and durability reasons. The user experience is enhanced through the inclusion of a gas spring counterbalance to make raising/lowering the bed effortless, paper towel and bed liner dispensers address cleanliness concerns, a safety belt prevents accidental falls, and hanging hooks provide a convenient location for a bag or purse.
